RESIDENTIAL FORECLOSURE PROCEDURES FOR ATTORNEYS AND STAFF

As we adjust to the loss of funding for senior judges, case managers, and staff in the foreclosure division, we ask your cooperation in our effort to best utilize the limited resources available to the court. Attached please find procedures for attorneys and staff to follow in conjunction with residential foreclosure proceedings. Your compliance with these procedures will assist the court in its efforts to efficiently process the high volume of paperwork passing through the residential foreclosure division.

You will also find attached copies of Local Rule 3 and Local Rule 4 as well as Administrative Orders 2.306-9/08 , 3.202-9/08, and 3.204-9/08 . Your familiarity and compliance with these rules and orders will not only assist in the efficient processing of paperwork, but should also reduce the number of necessary hearings and thereby reduce the delay in scheduling those hearings.
