As the lead agency for community-based care in Palm Beach County, Child and Family Connections (CFC) is charged with management of the organization, enhancement, coordination, and oversight of foster care and related services to ensure the safety, well-being and security of its children and families.
CFC was established in 2001 as a 501c3 corporation in response to the Florida Legislature’s mandate that child welfare services be privatized (Section 409.1617, Florida Statutes). Its three partnering agencies are Children’s Home Society (CHS), Family Preservation Services of Florida (FPS), and The Children’s Place at Home Safe (TCPHS).
