  •   Appointed County Judge in 1995 by then Florida Governor Lawton Chiles.

  • Attorney with the Florida Department of Agriculture (1969-70)

Professional Activities

  • Chaired the fourteen-month effort to establish Palm Beach County's felony Drug Court
  • Formed with Atty Rendell Brown the first 50/50 Black-White law partnership in the entire history of the state of Florida.
  • Founding member of the Florida Association of Drug Court Professionals
  • Chairperson of the Governor's NOPE Task Force (Narcotics Overdose Prevention & Education)
  • Chairperson of a grant-funded effort to establish a permanent working group of state and local government agencies servicing Palm Beach County

  • Honorary Board Member on the Board of Directors of the Loxahatchee River Historical Society
