Divisional Instructions
MOTION HEARINGS:
Monday - Out of Jail Arraignments and five minute motions are set at 8:30 a.m.
Trials begin at 9:30 a.m.
Five business days notice is required for all hearings, unless the State waives the five day notice.
Monday through Wednesday, five minute motions at 8:30 a.m.
Trials at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday and Friday - All motions longer than five minutes must be scheduled for hearing with Judicial Assistant. Any hearing scheduled by an attorney without clearing a date with the Judicial Assistant is subject to cancellation.
BOND HEARINGS:
Bond hearings are scheduled Wednesday through Friday at 8:30.
PRELIMINARY V.O.P.:
These hearings are set Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m.
CONTINUANCES:
Judge Miller will not sign AGREED ORDERS TO CONTINUE Trial/Hearing. Motion hearing must be set at 8:30 a.m. and the matter brought before the judge prior to the trial/hearing date.
